FSU football: What’s impact of signature win over No. 5 North Carolina?

Recruiting
I can’t understate what this win would do for the Noles in the recruiting department. As I mentioned, the previous staff never got that signature win or showed signs of improvement on the field.
This win is something the coaching staff can show recruits as clear progress, but also sell the vision as come be a part of something that’s heading in the right direction.
The negative recruiting I mentioned earlier will no longer have the same impact as it did before. Recruiting is the lifeblood of a program, and FSU is capable of being elite in that department when they are putting a good product on the field.
We had seen it for the better part of the last decade, but as the wins decreased, so did the quality of the players the Noles were able to sign.
FSU lost a legacy recruit this past week largely because of the product on the field it seems. It’ll be interesting to see what happens with that recruit between now and when it’s time to sign.
I had mentioned how the rest of the season was going to be important for recruiting after the loss to Georgia Tech.
It’s clear there are still some holes on the roster that need talent, and now that message can shift to a particular recruit or recruits being the answer.
