FSU football: 3 things to lookout for against North Carolina
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football will take on North Carolina Saturday night after battling Notre Dame last week. We give you three things to be on the lookout for in the game.
FSU football nabbed somewhat of a moral victory against No. 5 Notre Dame last Saturday night. It was a game the Noles went into as three-touchdown underdogs and were five yards from making it a one-score game in the fourth quarter.
Some questions about the offense received answers. Jordan Travis is can legitimately be successful running this offense, and Tamorrion Terry looked like he’s fully engaged again.
The offensive line isn’t the liability it once was as they have improved, and have a mobile quarterback makes them look even better.
It’s all about showing progress back towards respectability after going 18-20 over the past three seasons.
Unfortunately, it looked as if the defense regressed in the first half against Notre Dame. They allowed 35 points and over 200 yards in the first half.
The second half was a bit better as they only allowed one touchdown and had a goal-line stand against the Fighting Irish on their last possession near the end of the game.
However, there are still a ton of questions about this defense, and no one seems to have any answers.
North Carolina’s offense had been average looking the first two games but finally exploded in a shootout win over Virginia Tech last week.
It’ll likely be a high-scoring affair, and here are three things to be on the lookout for as Nole fans Saturday night.
