FSU football will look to get the first win of the Mike Norvell era when they take on Jacksonville State Saturday afternoon. Here are three performance goals for the game.

Can FSU football get any lower than they are right now? They probably could if they were to lose against Jacksonville State Saturday afternoon.

The sad part is some fans are so shell-shocked from the first two games that they wouldn’t be shocked to see the Noles lose.

After all, they almost lost to Samford two years ago and Lousiana-Monroe last year. The Noles come into the game as nearly four touchdown betting favorites with Jacksonville State playing in their first action of the season.

I asked earlier Thursday if they Noles would cover the spread, and most fans don’t believe that’s going to happen. I think most fans want a win by any means necessary.

That should happen, but I’m more concerned with how they play after seemingly having a good week of practice, according to Mike Norvell.

So I put together some performance goals for each unit going into Saturday’s game. Let’s get right to it.
