Can FSU Play Turnover Free?

One of the biggest questions about this FSU offense is turning the ball over. They are not good enough to overcome turnovers, especially against a decent to good defense.

They’ve turned the ball over SIX times in the last three games and only lost those three games by combined 22 points.

In contrast, Miami has only turned the ball over three times in those three games.

The turnovers have been the major difference in the two programs in the last three years. A lot of the FSU turnovers have come on their side of the field, which resulted in easy points for the Miami offense.

FSU will need to be conservative and smart at different instances in this game. If they are deep in their territory, they should play it safe and not risk giving the Canes a short field. That’s where having a punter with a big leg will be valuable.

I think this game is going to be closer than most people think. If the Noles have avoided turnovers, hit some explosive plays, and contain D’Eriq King, the Canes will be ripe for the upset.
