FSU football will have a huge game next week against arch-rival Miami. We can learn a lot about them as they take on Louisville on Saturday.

FSU football fans are still trying to recover from the Noles getting upset last week against Georgia Tech.

However, their attention is now on the Hurricanes, as that’s the most important game on the schedule. If the Noles can defeat Miami next week, the loss against Georgia Tech will be ancient history.

The only issue is Miami didn’t play a strong opponent in their opening game and didn’t look great even though they eventually pulled away for the win.

That’s why their game against Louisville will have lots of Nole fans tuning in to see what they can potentially bring to the table.

Miami quarterback D’Eriq King showed off his ability to run against UAB but struggled in the passing game. The thought after the game was FSU would be able to stack the box and force him to beat them with his arm.

However, after playing against Georgia Tech, FSU fans are sure King will run all over the Nole defense. I’ll be curious to see how Louisville tries to defend him on Saturday.

I’m also curious to see how Miami’s defense will fare against a better offense. Louisville will look to establish their run game while attacking downfield with a triple threat of wide receivers in Tutu Atwell, Dez Fitzpatrick, and Braden Smith.

Louisville wasn’t strong on defense last season, but I expect them to be somewhat better in 2020. If they can contain the Miami offense, that should give the Noles hope they’ll be able to do the same next week.
