FSU football: Fans react to Miami game being in prime time

FSU football will take part in one of the best college rivalries in college football in two weeks. Fans react to the Miami game being in prime time.

FSU football fans continue to lick their wounds after the upset loss to Georgia Tech in the season opener.

It doesn’t help most FSU fans were talking big smack about Miami’s performance against UAB.

Hey, at least Georgia Tech is a Power Five conference foe, huh?

FSU started well against Georgia Tech, but the way they lost that game, combined with why they lost is giving Nole fans pause on the outlook of the season.

Some FSU fans may already consider the season a failure after losing to Georgia Tech. However, I can guarantee a win over Miami would make that loss forgettable in a hurry. Whether it’ll happen or not is what we’ll debate for the next couple of weeks leading up to the game.

For now, the reaction to the announcement of the game being in prime time Monday afternoon was entertaining.

That last tweet is an understatement. FSU football has gifted Miami two of the last three wins, but I was surprised this game received this time slot with how both teams looked in their openers.

However, there’s less college football to choose from with the Big 10 and Pac 12 not playing, so I get that the TV networks need football programs with national brands to come at a premium.

Also, the game between these two teams is usually good no matter how bad the teams are. Aside from 2019, the last five games have been decided by five points or less.

Both teams looked suspect on offense in their openers, but FSU will go into the game with two weeks to prepare while Miami takes on Lousiville.
