FSU football will take on Georgia Tech in its season opener Saturday afternoon. We give you five things to be on the lookout for.

FSU football will have arguably its most important game of the season Saturday afternoon when they host the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

It’s an opportunity to get the Mike Norvell era started in a positive direction while curbing the bitter taste of defeat FSU fans have become accustomed to early in the past few seasons.

There are a ton of questions going into the game with two relatively new coaching staff.

Geoff Collins is in his second year at Georgia Tech, looking to continue to transition away from the triple-option offense that was a staple under Paul Johnson.

Mike Norvell is in his first year, looking to implement his offense, with both having to deal with missing a ton of practice time due to COVID-19.

Georgia Tech’s still not sure about there quarterback situation, and the Noles could see a former commit in freshman Jeff Sims on the field.

The Noles enter the game as double-digit favorites, which is a lot with so many unknowns. However, let’s get into five things to look out for in the game.
