FSU football coaches are still hard at work evaluating players for its 2022 recruiting class. Their latest offer is a playmaker from South Carolina.

FSU football coaches are looking to solidify its wide receiver group in the upcoming recruiting classes.

The Noles have three-star South Carolina wide receiver Joshua Burrell committed for the 2021 recruiting cycle.

They’ll likely take at least two more wide receivers in 2021, but they are already concentrating on building relationships with wide receivers for 2022.

The latest offer goes to another South Carolina wide receiver in Jaleel Skinner. Skinner announced the FSU offer Wednesday night via his Twitter account:

Skinner checks in at 6’5″ and 210 pounds and has 11 offers from the likes of FSU, South Carolina, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and others.

Richardson doesn’t have a 247 Composite Ranking at this time, but 247 rates him as a blue-chip prospect. They have him as the No. 82 player overall, No. 1 tight end, and the No. 2 player in South Carolina. Both South Carolina and Clemson hold 247 Crystal Ball Predictions, but those predictions took place last year and January 2020.

The only place he has visited thus far is South Carolina in January 2019.

He appears to be good friends with FSU commit Joshua Burrell as Burrelll retweeted Skinner’s post with a comment indicating they had been talking.

Skinner has incredible size as a rising junior who’s a long strider that usually catches the ball with his hands instead of his body. He’s a willing and physical blocker in the running game, which is important in Mike Norvell’s offense.

He’s a big-time threat in the red zone with that size too. Clemson hasn’t offered yet which is something to keep an eye on. The Noles will need to get him on campus and have Burrell constantly in his ear moving forward.
