WR target Destyn Pazon invited to Under Armour All-American Game
By Kelvin Hunt
A four-star recruit and Noles target Destyn Pazon has been putting in work heading into his senior season. The hard work is paying off.
Four-star recruit Destyn Pazon is one of the biggest targets for the Noles on its 2021 recruiting board.
The Noles have one wide receiver commit in with Joshua Burrell and is looking to add a few more wide receivers in the 2021 class.
Pazon is considered the No. 110 player and the No. 19 wide receiver nationally. He’d be the second-highest commit in the class if he were to commit to the Noles.
He visited Tallahassee twice this spring before the pandemic shut everything down many believe the Noles lead in his recruitment as there have been 14 predictions for the Noles on 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictions.
Pazon recently competed at a camp in his home state of Mississippi and put up an impressive number in the 40-yard dash:
Thoughts
I don’t think most casual fans understand how 40 times work. Most times we hear about are ‘hand-timed’, meaning there’s a lot of room for error and often produces faster times than the actual time.
However, when you see the tweet say Laser-2-Laser time, that’s as accurate as it can get. A 4.52 laser time for a guy that hasn’t started his senior year of high school is getting it done.
Pazon also received an invitation to participate in the Under Armour All-American Game in January. That’s the same invitation FSU commit Luke Altmyer received Sunday as well.
This news continues to support the idea of Mike Norvell and staff being able to identify top talent that fits their offense. As you can see, FSU commit Joshua Burrell likes the idea of teaming up with Altmyer and Pazon in Tallahassee.
That would be the start of a great nucleus on offense as the Noles look to add more weapons at running back and along the offensive line.
