Players Getting In Football Shape

The players finally got to workout with the strength and conditioning staff after months of doing the workouts provided to them while they were at home.

Trust me, working out on your own isn’t the same as working out with a team and the coaches. It looks like Coach Storms was ready to put them to work on Monday too:

The team had made some impressive gains in the strength and conditioning department before the shutdown. All we can hope is they were able to maintain most of what they gained while they were away, although some players didn’t have the necessary equipment to workout like others.

Either way, we’ll likely find out pretty quickly who was accountable and who wasn’t while everything was shutdown. These workouts will be critical in getting these guys prepared for the season and eventually putting pads on again.
