FSU football: How Nole coaches maximized time during the pandemic

FSU football had endured one of the most unique circumstances in all of college football. Here’s how the coaching staff maximized their time during the pandemic.

FSU football could be back sooner than later, as things seem to be trending towards college football happening in some form or fashion in the coming months.

It’s been the longest nearly three months ever with no sports, but it has been time the coaching staff has used to to make up ground in certain areas with more time on their hands since there were no actual practices to host or practice footage to evaluate.

Granted, the pandemic has issued its own set of challenges as the football team has missed 12 spring practices that would have been critical to installing the offense and defense with the new coaching staff.

The players have been given their own strength and conditioning programs to stay in shape, but working out on their own isn’t the same as having the structure of the coaching staff there in person.

The coaches and players can’t get that time back, hopefully the NCAA will allow some type of summer practices or ways to offset the time missed. Despite all of the challenges, the pandemic has given the coaches ways to maximize certain areas. Our top three areas maximized are as follows.
