FSU football: Noles make top six for Texas LB Jordan Eubanks
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football is looking for playmakers on both sides of the ball. A Texas linebacker has the Noles in his top six list of schools.
FSU football coaches are looking to add the best players possible to get the program back to where it’s supposed to be.
They have seven commitments and have sent out over 275 scholarship offers for the 2021 recruiting cycle.
The linebacker position used to be a position of weakness for the Noles, but it’s one of the few positions the former staff improved. However, the Noles still need more talent and depth at the position.
FSU goes into the 2021 recruiting cycle with two linebacker commits, one being four-star legacy recruit Branden Jennings. The other may not make it into the class as he was committed to the previous staff, and there hasn’t been a lot of news surrounding him.
The good news is FSU continues to make several top lists of 2021 recruits. The latest is three-star linebacker Jordan Eubanks who released his top six schools Tuesday morning via his Twitter account:
Eubanks hails from Denton, Texas, and has 18 offers from the likes of FSU, Arkansas, Boston College, Arizona, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Michigan State, and other smaller schools.
He checks in at 6’2″ and 205 pounds and is considered the No. 1,175 ranked player nationally, No. 85 linebacker and the No. 191 player in the state of Texas.
I mean, when you look at his list of final six, FSU football is the one that stands out among the rest. No disrespect to those schools and even though FSU has been down the last few seasons, those other programs are not in the same class.
The Noles offered 23 outside linebackers including Eubanks, and they offered him about a month ago. However, he has yet to be able to visit campus due to the pandemic. He’ll be a player to watch once campus visits are allowed again.
