Final Thoughts

It looks as though most FSU football fans agree that having recruiting momentum closer or during the season is the way to go.

The combination of having success on the field with recruits seeing it live is a winning formula. It’s how Jimbo Fisher brought the Noles back to prominence earlier in the decade.

FSU football is a spectacular sports car that just needs some fine-tuning here and there with the right octane of gas to fuel it all.

There are few programs in the nation that can turn things around the way FSU can. Just think of the programs that were once great who haven’t found success in years.

Miami, Tennessee,  and USC come to mind as programs that have wallowed in mediocrity for years and or decades without competing for championships.

FSU went through it’s lost decade and was competing for titles in three years in the early part of the last decade.

It’s something they can repeat if they can get back to recruiting the right players that can be difference makers.
