FSU football recruiting has been under the microscope during the coronavirus shutdown. Could they be on the verge of much-needed momentum?

A lot has been made of FSU football recruiting and their 247 Composite Ranking in the mid-40s when other programs like Tennessee, North Carolina, and Miami are ranked top 10.

I wrote why fans shouldn’t be worried about the recruiting rankings right now based on several reasons.

Mainly, those programs are in a different position than the Noles in that they don’t have an entirely new staff coming off a transition class while not being able to host recruits on campus.

Nevertheless, the coaching staff has been active on the trails the best they can. They’ve implemented different ways to engage recruits, from virtual tours, to much-improved graphic images on social media, to the customary video calls and text messages.

Though the hay isn’t in the barn yet, it looks like the coaching staff is doing some nice work on the recruiting trails.

At least players are talking about the Noles and listing them in their top list of schools. However, there are a few blue-chip recruits FSU football could see join the 2021 commit list.

Let’s give you a rundown right quick.
