FSU football continues to send out offers for its 2022 recruiting class. They’ve targeted nearby Georgia once again with an offer.

FSU football has sent out nearly 50 offers to defensive backs in the 2022 recruiting class. The latest offer goes to Georgia defensive back JaDarian Rhym.

He’s the 10th defensive back from Georgia offered by the Noles.

Rhym hails from Valdosta, Georgia, which is an area that’s been kind to the Noles over the years as that’s where players like Greg Reid and Telvin Smith are from.

Rhym announced the offer via his Twitter account Friday night:

Rhym checks in at 6’1″ and 170 pounds with nine offers to his credit from schools like FSU, Florida, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Tennessee, along with some other smaller schools not on the Power Five list.

He does not have a composite ranking at this time but the offers should continue to roll in now. Six of those schools offered on April 21 with Tennessee offering on April 29 and FSU and Georgia Tech offering Friday.

Thoughts

I like the size and length Rhym brings to the table as it’s something that can compete against the larger wide receivers opposing teams have. It helps that Valdosta High has always produced some very good players.

He’s got room to put on size once he gets into a college strength and conditioning program and could possibly grow more since’s he’s a couple of years away from college.

This is more of the staff projecting how a high school player could fit into their system. FSU has yet to solidify a defensive back commit for the 2021 recruiting class, much less the 2022 recruiting cycle.

However, it’s great they’re getting all these offers out early as that should pay dividends in the next recruiting cycle and beyond.
