FSU football was the first power-five program to offer three-star linebacker, Andrew Jones.

Wednesday afternoon, he announced his list of top 9 schools at this point in his recruitment, and the Noles made the list.

Jones hails from Marrero, Louisiana, and holds 18 offers from schools likes FSU, Georgia, Louisville, Houston, Kansas, Memphis, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Arkansas State, and others.

Check out how he announced his top 9 list via his Twitter account:

Jones checks in at 6’1″ 210 pounds and will likely be able to play multiple positions while being able to add size after getting into a college strength and conditioning program. FSU has been one of the leaders in his recruitment for a while and currently holds all five 247 Crystal Ball predictions (five votes).

Thoughts

There were plenty more comments to choose from, but these guys covered it all right here. FSU is a top 20 school in the nation and some of the best looking women in the world. Did we mention the entire athletic program is great with multiple sports making it to the post-season every year, year after year?

The football program hasn’t been great the past three years, but it doesn’t take long for a place like FSU to turn things around. Just go back to 2009 and how bad that team was and then look at the run the Noles had from 2012-14.

FSU has brought in some talent at the linebacker position the past couple of seasons, and Jones would be an excellent addition should they reel him in.

The good news is, FSU got him on campus just before the coronavirus shut down everything, and he’s being recruiting by David Johnson who has great ties to the state of Louisiana.
