FSU football needs playmakers in Mike Norvell’s offense going forward. Four-star 2021 WR Tyrese Johnson is interested in the Noles.
FSU football needs playmakers in the 2021 recruiting class to go along with QB commit Luke Altmyer.
The Noles added some nice playmakers in the 2020 cycle, but wide receiver is an area they’ll need to continue to stockpile talent.
It looks like the state of Louisiana is where a lot of the concentration has been as a couple of wide receivers from the boot are showing interest in the Noles.
Four-star wide receiver Destyn Pazon listed the Noles in his final top-five a couple of days ago with many feeling the Noles leading for is commitment.
The Noles don’t have any wide receivers committed for the 2021 class and will likely need to take 2-3 signees.
Four-star wide receiver Tyrese Johnson announced a list of top schools Thursday evening, and the Noles were listed:

Johnson hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, and holds 17 offers from likes of FSU, Miami, Tennessee, Colorado, Louisville, Virginia, Arkansas, Arizona, and others.
I think it’s important to note he hasn’t been offered by the home state school LSU yet.
He’s considered the No. 256 player nationally and No. 47 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 8 ranked player in Louisiana.
He’s 6’1″ 190 pounds with some big-time programs vying for his commitment while also having D-1 basketball offers too.
Noles is running back coach David Johnson is likely on him as he has great ties in the state after being the head coach at two high schools there years back.
FSU football offered Johnson on January 8, 2020, just two days after they offered Pazon.
It does look like Johnson has visited anywhere or attending any camps. Can the Noles get him on campus? The only problem is we have no time frame of when the temporary dead period will be lifted due to issues related to COVID-19.
