How Stanford Samuels III can overcome disappointing NFL Combine

FSU Pro Day

Standford Samuels III declined to do any other drills aside from the ones you see in the video below.

All colleges host Pro Days, where former players can come and workout for NFL coaches and scouts.

These usually take place a few weeks after the NFL Combine, and it’ll give Samuels III to continue to refine his technique in hopes of improving his 40 times.

It’s crazy, but the perception would change if he could somehow get anything with a 4.5 beside his name.

It doesn’t matter if it’s 4.55 or 4.59, that coupled with his length would give teams more of an incentive to take a chance on him.

I do think he can play in the NFL in the right situation, but it’s going to take the right team and the right scheme for him to find success.
