Final Thoughts

The Noles have 17 players signed and six players committed but unsigned going into National Signing Day.

I expect all six players who are committed to stick with the Noles and two of the four non-committed players to choose the Noles.

If could pick one player that’s not committed to commit it would be DJ Lundy. The fact he’s a state championship wrestler speaks volumes about his mindset and the level of athlete he is.

The physicality is something FSU football has been lacking for some time and his ability to crack heads even on special teams would be a welcome addition.

If Malachi Wideman ultimately chooses to go elsewhere, I don’t think it’s a big of a deal as most will make it out to be. He’s an uber-talented athlete but probability of him being great at BOTH football and basketball is relatively small.

Not to mention the Noles do have some solid wide receiver pieces in this class. They have speed, size and a player with a little of both in Bryan Robinson.

This will put a bow on the 2020 class and the coaching staff is already laying the foundation for 2021 with the addition of QB Luke Altmyer and possibly top 50 legacy player Branden Jennings Friday. Things are looking up for the Noles!
