FSU football had its final 2020 recruiting weekend with all of its targets visiting. It was far more productive than some think.

FSU football enters the final week of 2020 recruiting with its class almost full. The Noles have 23 commits and only a few select spots remaining.

One of those spots is reserved for four-star commit Malachi Wideman if he decides to honor his commitment and sign with the Noles on National Signing Day.

FSU coaches will likely look to add a couple of graduate transfer offensive linemen from the transfer portal later this spring. That leaves the three targets who made it to campus over the weekend and others like three-star safety Donovan Kaufman. Here are the three targets that were schedule to visit.

All three recruiting targets made their visits over the weekend with Lundy not making to campus until late Saturday as expected. It’s always good when all your expected targets show up and the Noles have a good shot to land at least two out of three.

The coaching staff got in on Lundy late in the process and he wasn’t on campus very long over the past day or so. If they manage to land him it would be an impressive feat to say the least while battling Georgia(he’s from Georgia) and Virginia Tech.

Lundy is a state championship wrestler and Virginia Tech has an outstanding wrestling program. Davis would be another pass rusher in the class that would meet a need. It’ll likely be either Williams or Kaufman in the class and either would be the third defensive back taken by the staff.

The weekend wasn’t limited to just the 2020 recruiting class though.
