Final Thoughts

The biggest question we don’t have answers to at the moment is will Mike Norvell and staff be able to develop the players they sign?

One thing we can look at is his success at Memphis where they hardly every signed a blue chip player, but built that program into one of the best programs in the country.

I’d wager the three-star recruits they are signing in this class are of a higher quality when compared to those Memphis teams.

The average per player rating for the 2019 Memphis recruiting class was 83.76. The 2018 per player average at Memphis was 81.56.

The 2020 per player average for FSU football is 88.40 which is a significant difference. Will the 2020 FSU recruiting class be the foundation behind the Noles winning a national championship in the near future?

Absolutely not.

However, it can be a transitional class that raises the floor of the program to the point of FSU being able to consistently compete for higher quality players in future classes.
