Final Thoughts

I wrote earlier last week I would take 1-2 more running backs in this class due to depth and experience concerns.

Wren helps address the running back position and the wide receiver position in the event Malachi Wideman chooses not to sign with the Noles on National Signing Day.

I’m not saying Wren can do what Wideman does as a wide receiver, but from a sheer numbers perspective it helps that unit.

Now, the coaching staff can focus more attention on filling the needs of the offensive line and defensive end  positions.

Those are the two biggest remaining needs in the class though it’s possible they could take another defensive back, tight end or linebacker.

FSU likely has about five spots remaining in the 2020 recruiting class if they wish to use them. They’ve offered a number of players  as preferred walk-ons, so it looks as though they won’t award a scholarship just to fill a number which is a good thing.

The coaching staff seems organized with their fingers on the pulse of what this team needs most. That’s refreshing to see and they are relentless on the recruiting trail.

The Noles now have 20 commits for the 2020 recruiting cycle and remain at the No. 21 spot in terms of national rankings.
