FSU football: 3 possible look ahead games on 2020 schedule
By Kelvin Hunt
Final Thoughts
FSU football definitely should have won eight or nine games in 2019. Can better-coaching help win these types of games against outmatched teams in spots where teams typically slip up?
I think so.
As bad as they were at times last season, FSU was so close to winning games they lost due to self-inflicted wounds like penalties and turnovers.
If those are cut down significantly, I like their chances to win these games. That’s where the coaching staff having the team prepared to play becomes a factor.
Things like game-planning to take advantage of certain matchups or forcing teams to do things they typically are not consistently good at on offense.
We haven’t seen that sort of thing in Tallahassee in years. It’s one of the prime reasons FSU has gone 18-20 over the last three seasons too.
One consistent narrative I’ve heard about Mike Norvell’s teams is they don’t get out-classed The 2020 season will surely give us great insight as to if that’s true or not.
