November 7th- at Miami, SP+ Final Ranking No. 33

Man, that Miami team that finished 6-7, 4-4 ACC) was terrible but did they every beat the dog snot out of FSU in 2019. We have the Canes to thank for helping the Noles hire Mike Norvell. Miami lost the last three games of the season against Florida International, Duke and was shutout against Louisiana Tech in their bowl game. They have added graduate transfer QB D’Eriq King and graduate transfer defensive end Quincy Roche to help bolster their roster. This game is a must-win for the Noles who’ve lost three straight to the Canes.

November 14th – Boston College, SP+ Final Ranking No. 92

Boston College proceeded to fire Steve Addazio after their(6-7, 4-4 ACC) finish in 2019. It’s a move I’m not sure they made as the Eagles will likely never consistently compete for ACC championships being in the ACC Atlantic Division. This is a game the Noles can’t overlook depending on the result of the Miami game the week prior. Who knows what Boston College will look like under their new coach Jeff Hafley, but it’s a game FSU needs to win in 2020.

November 19th- at Syracuse, SP+ Final Ranking No. 77

Syracuse was a team that saw a complete turnaround(in a negative way) from the previous year. The Orange finished (5-7, 2-6 ACC) after winning 10 games in 2018 and were mollywhopped by the Noles, returning the favor they received in 2018. This is a game the Noles should win, but it is on the road on a Thursday night inside the Carrier Dome. Thursday night games coming off a short week to prepare are always weird and played sloppily. It’s a game FSU football needs to win to fuel the perception they are turning things around.

November 28th – Florida, SP+ Final Ranking No. 7

The Florida Gators (11-2, 6-2 SEC) dumped the Noles in 2019 for the second consecutive season. It looked like a glorified scrimmage of sorts with FSU’s defense getting gashed with ease. We’ll see what FSU defensive coordinator Adam Fuller as the defense looking like by this time late in the season. He’ll have extra time to prepare for it with the Thursday night game the week prior. FSU needs to at least keep this game respectable if not win it outright to help turn the tide perception wise.
