FSU football has been to the mountain top as recently as 2013. Here’s three things they need to be an elite program again.

FSU football is in the same exact spot 10 years ago as it is right now. They were coming off a disappointing season that coincided with a coaching change.

The only difference is the new coach had bee non staff for a number of years previously and had a virtual head start in terms of understanding what needed to be fixed.

I was looking at the national championship game between LSU and Clemson Monday night reminiscing of the times when FSU was always in the mix.

We got an up close and personal view of the gap between FSU and Clemson earlier this year. It was a one-sided beat down for the second consecutive year. However, watching Clemson play LSU gave me a another point of view as both teams are elite.

I was thinking the exact same thing below as a follower cast that onto the Twitter timeline.

You see my reaction because it was nothing but the truth. I mean, it took Clemson YEARS to bypass FSU and that was with a coach that had lost control of his program just a year or two after a national title.

That was with Clemson having the two best quarterbacks in their history basically with Trevor Lawrence replacing Deshaun Watson.

Nevertheless, FSU football is a program that will always be relevant as long as they have a competent head coach.

The Noles will be back but here’s three things they need to make it back to elite status.
