FSU football needs to close strong with its 2020 recruiting class. However, the coaching staff is already on the trails for 2021.

The FSU football coaching staff is going after difference makers in the 2021 recruiting class. It’s evident they are not going to focus on one particular area as they have offered players from Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas among other places.

We can add North Carolina to the fold as they have offered a pair of 2021 teammates from the Tarheel state.

The latest offers have gone to four-star defensive end Jahvaree Ritzie and three-star linebacker Raneiria Dillworth from Glenn High School in Kernersville, NC.

That’s an area near Greensboro and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Ritzie is the No. 164 ranked player nationally, No. 10 strong side defensive end and No. 10 ranked player in North Carolina.

He currently holds 22 offers from the like of Auburn, Duke, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State and others.

North Carolina has been able to get him on campus way more than any other school thus far. However, it should be noted his offer from Georgia is pinned on his Twitter profile.

Dillworth is the No. 360 player nationally, No. 25 outside linebacker and No. 25 player in North Carolina.

He currently holds 12 offers from the likes of Virginia Tech, Auburn, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and others.

He’s visited North Carolina unofficially last fall.

Thoughts

FSU football has had success in the state of North Carolina in the past. I’m not sure who’s recruiting that state, but it would make sense for it to be defensive ends/special teams coach John Papuchis who used to work at North Carolina just a few years ago and should be familiar with the state.

dark. Next. Where Will Noles Focus 2021 Recruiting?

The Noles are in desperate needs of defensive ends who can pass rush and will need linebackers this in that recruiting cycle as well. Let’s see if the staff can get these two on campus together.
