No. 18 FSU basketball went on the road and beat the brakes off No. 7 Louisville Saturday afternoon and Nole fans are rejoicing everywhere.
FSU basketball probably has Louisville fans thinking what have they done to garner the wrath of the Noles. FSU has beaten Louisville in football the last two years with two of the worst FSU teams of the last decade.
FSU football took a blue chip quarterback from Louisville during the early signing period in Chubba Purdy.
hey also had another defensive end from Louisville who had entered the transfer portal to sign with the Noles during the early signing period.
Now, FSU basketball goes on the road as +6.5 betting underdogs against the Cardinals and won by 13 points. I told FSU fans on Twitter itβs all been payback for the beating they gave FSU on the football in 2016 with Lamar Jackson at quarterback.
Some fans were not optimistic going into the game, but they were extremely proud of the team after the win.
Fan Reaction
If this FSU basketball team can stay healthy and focused they are going to be a problem in March. Letβs Go!!!! Noles!!!π’

Thoughts
It was a huge win and FSU fans have every right to be excited about this team. They did it in unconventional βNoles fashion by shooting lights out and getting crushed on the boards while only going to the free throw line five times in the entire game.
The two latter things are something they need to address immediately as they are not going to shoot 55 percent from the floor in every game. This is definitely a win that will build the resume for seeding when March rolls around. This could be a year FSU makes some noise in the conference with UNC and other usual better programs being down.
Theyβll take on Wake Forest on the road next before hosting No. 19 Virginia. The key to sustaining success will be not losing momentum by losing to a team like Wake Forest on the road.
