FSU football has done a great job of identifying wide receiver talent for the 2020 class. They added another huge piece in Bryan Robinson.

FSU football continues with its recruiting momentum from the past week or so. The Noles have added former Miami commit and four-star wide receiver Bryan Robinson to its 2020 recruiting class.

This is a huge get for the Noles as Robinson is their third highest ranked commit in the class.

He checks in as the No. 174 ranked player nationally and No. 30 ranked wide receiver. He’s the No. 26 ranked player in the state of Florida.

Robinson signing could complete a ridiculous quartet of Malachi Wideman, Ja’Khi Douglas and Kentron Poitier.

Most of the credit has to go to FSU wide receivers coach Ron Dugans who was a major reason Robinson committed to Miami. Once Dugans came home to Tallahassee it wasn’t long before the pendulum began to swing in favor of the Noles.

However, it looked like Robinson would go elsewhere after how the FSU season got off to a terrible start and the firing of Willie Taggart.

Robinson decommitted on June 14th from Miami and has visited Tallahassee several times since then including a visit last weekend to meet the new staff.

Robinson is the fourth player from the top 30 in the state of Florida to join the class. FSU now stands at 17 commitments with the No. 21 ranked recruiting class in the nation.

Thoughts

This is huge for FSU football as the new staff looked to lock in current and former commits. There was only a handful of former commits that they wanted in which they were unable to reel back in.

The good news is a few of them FSU football will likely never play against anyways.

They’ve done a good job of finding a solid QB, deep group of receivers, linebackers and defensive backs. Now it’s about finding some offensive tackles and defensive lineman to finish out the class strong.
