Trenches

I feel like I preached  about the importance of the trenches forever this recruiting cycle, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

FSU football desperately needs to get better in the trenches and only has one defensive tackle committed in four-star Emanuel Rogers.

The old staff did address the offensive line with two offensive tackle commits and two offensive guards.

However, none of them would be able to play as true freshmen and need to do a lot of work in the strength and conditioning department.

They could stand to take a couple more offensive tackles and new offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham has relationships with some nice JUCO targets.

I think the JUCO market is going to have to be a must when it comes to defensive tackle and defensive end. They absolutely need to get better there with depth and players that can make a difference as they have no defensive end and just one defensive tackle committed.

They had two three-star defensive ends to decommit recently and we saw FSU had ZERO pass rush in 2019.

These area are a must as FSU football has been getting whipped in the trenches on both sides of the ball aside from Marvin Wilson and he’s likely gone to the NFL.
