FSU football: Fans react to ‘Noles performance against Wake Forest
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football went into the Wake Forest game needing a win to gain some much-needed momentum. The offense decided to stay in Tally.
FSU football can never get on the same page in a game with their offense and defense. Earlier in the year it was the defense that never showed up when the offense was playing well.
Now, it’s the FSU defense that showed up and the offense decided to lay an egg against one a pretty bad defense.
It’s completely unacceptable for FSU football to look this way. It’s the same problems from last year with multiple turnovers and too many penalties.
All this program does is continue to beat itself over and over. The offensive coaching staff continues to call screen plays that almost never work because receivers refuse to block.
Nole fans are sick of it too as they voiced their displeasure on social media.

I mean I don’t know we here to start on the offensive side of the ball. Tamorrion Terry is supposed to be one of the best receivers in the country and he’s dropping passes left and right.
The offensive line allowed players to come free without getting touched whatsoever. DJ Matthews won’t catch a punt in the air to save his life and still gets trotted back out there?
Wake Forest couldn’t stop the run consistently at all, but what does Kendal Briles do? He goes and throws back-to-back screen plays and the offense quickly goes three and out.
There was a stretch when the FSU defense forced FIVE consecutive punts and the offense didn’t score one single time during that stretch.
I don’t expect them to score every possession, but it is Wake Forest who just have up 60 points to Louisville’s backup QB.
How has the offense regressed this badly after starting out the year like gangbusters? I can’t defend this staff anymore, but I will say the FSU defense came to play for a change Saturday night.
