Sacks/Tackles for Loss

As you can see, all of these things sort of go hand-in-hand and this one is no different. Clemson’s defense has been able to consistently get FSU off-schedule offensively, which has put them in third down and long situations that are difficult to convert.

The Tigers have dominated the abysmal offensive line of the Noles over the past two seasons. In fact, they have tallied 10 sacks and 24 tackles for loss in that time frame.

The ‘Noles defense has only tallied two sacks and 10 tackles for loss the past two games. The sad part? The FSU football defense only had ONE tackle for loss and ZERO sacks last year against Clemson.

That’s not going to get it done ladies and gentlemen and it’s why the games have been fairly lopsided the past two years.

Clemson has won in the trenches AND had has much better quarterback play. I think the FSU QB situation has improved a bit over what they had last year.

The FSU offensive line is slightly better but they still give up way too many sacks/tackles for loss.
