FSU football: Fans disgusted with performance against Louisiana-Monroe
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football had an embarrassing performance against Louisiana-Monroe and Nole fans are not happy. They voiced their displeasure on social media.
FSU football seems to have hit rock bottom with its own fans after narrowly escaping with an overtime win against Louisiana-Monroe.
Willie Taggart asked the fans to keep supporting the team after blowing a multiple touchdown lead against Boise State last week.
However, that’s a hard ask when the program keeps putting a terrible product on the field looking about as bad as they did last year.
Especially on defense where the Warhawks were able to march up and down the field and would have found more success if their receivers didn’t have so many drops.
I talked about how Willie Taggart won the offseason again, but it appears he’s lost this entire fan base as they went life and death with a team they were favored to beat by three touchdowns.
Check out how disgusted FSU football fans were with what they saw Saturday:

Thoughts
There is clearly something wrong with this football program. It’s the second week in a row they’ve opened like gangbusters in the first quarter only to fold at the first sign of adversity.
The defense can’t stop the run against anyone and the secondary was getting burned by guys no one has ever heard of before.
FSU gave up nearly 200 rushing yards with Louisiana-Monroe going six of 15 on third down. The Warhawks has possession of the ball for 45 minutes compared to 29 for FSU.
FSU’s offense was stagnant for a large part of the second half and played sloppy with turnovers and too many penalties.
The Noles has turnovers on back-to-back possessions which resulted in two touchdowns for the Warhawks.
FSU had another turnover that also resulted into a Louisiana-Monroe touchdown. Think about it folks. FSU football had to go to double overtime and won on a wide right extra point.
Willie Taggart’s post-game press conference should be fun to watch (sarcasm). They’ll travel to Virginia next week and will likely be sizable underdogs in a game that will be pivotal for the rest of the season.
