FSU football: Mixed reaction with Boise St. game moving to Tallahassee
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football will be played Saturday. Hurricane Dorian forced the game to be moved from Jacksonville to Tallahassee. Fans mixed reactions to the news.
The good news is FSU football will be playing a game against Boise State Saturday instead of the alternative of the game being canceled.
The bad news is a lot of folk who purchased tickets for the game in Jacksonville have to make changes to their plans quickly.
Hurricane Dorian’s course has largely been unpredictable the past few days and officials were waiting to see what the best course of action would be.
It looks like moving the game 160+ miles west and the game time up till noon was the best case scenario considering everything.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the folk in the path of the storm. I can understand the frustration of having purchased tickets and planning to go to Jacksonville for months only to have things change at the last-minute.

The Tallahassee Democrat is reporting all of the tickets purchased for Jacksonville will be refunded and tickets for the game in Tallahassee are general admission and are $10 through Seminoles.com
I’m sure Doak Campbell will not be packed to capacity the same way it was last season when the Noles opened up at night against Virginia Tech. However, it does give FSU football a home that many fans were asking for who were against neutral site games.
It also makes the series agreement between FSU and Boise State a true home and home series with the Noles traveling there in 2020.
At the end of the day, we get to see our Noles play for the first time in 2019. It looks as though the game will air on ESPNews at 12 p.m. according to multiple reports.
Be sure to tune in or get to the game(while being safe from the storm of course) if possible.
