Jalen Ramsey

The first true freshmen to start at cornerback since Deion Sanders in 1985. Ramsey was named Freshman All-American by multiple outlets.

He finished the season with 49 tackles, one interception, one fumble returned for a touchdown, a sack, one fumble forced, one QB hurry and one pass broken up.

Ramsey has always had a knack for coming up big in big games. He had six tackles in FSU’s 51-14 beat down of Clemson.

Ramsey also had five tackles in FSUs 41-14 against Miami and five tackles in the national championship game against Auburn.

One funny note is FSU likely owes its 2013 national championship to Jalen Ramsey getting trucked by Tre Mason.

The missed tackle gave the Noles enough time for Jameis Winston to work his magic on the game winning TD drive in the last-minute of the game.

Ramsey would go on to become a first round selection of the Jacksonville Jaguars and All-Pro selection in the NFL.
