There is cautious optimism regarding FSU football heading into 2019. I look at five concerns heading into the season.

FSU football went into the 2018 season with a crazy amount of hype that was basically snuffed out a couple of minutes after the entire team swag surfed prior to kickoff against Virginia Tech.

It was a tough season to watch and write about as the Noles lost to both Miami and Florida for the first time in a decade, and missed a bowl game for the first time in nearly 40 years.

The Noles will take the field in less than three weeks against Boise State in what’s one of the most important FSU games in recent memory.

Expectations for 2019 are fluctuating wildly with some folk believing the Noles will have a ceiling of eight to nine wins with others believing the Noles could finish as low at 6-6.

There are some promising reports coming out of fall camp and there are noticeable differences in the physiques of a number of players.

Coach Taggart has started the healing process as the fan base looks to rebound from last season and find new faith in the program.

For all those doubting the Noles in 2019 the roster is still full of talented players. They’re in better shape in key positions than a year ago, but new concerns have arrived for the new season.

Let’s get into the top five biggest concerns going into 2019.
