FSU football: 5 most overrated teams on 2019 schedule
By Kelvin Hunt
Miami
Miami ended the 2018 season (7-6) getting rolled by Wisconsin for the second straight season in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. Three of their wins came against Savannah State, Toledo and FIU.
They lost four consecutive games after being GIFTED a win by Deondre Francois and the Noles last season. Miami lost to the likes of Boston College, Duke and Georgia Tech.
They were picked No. 29 in the recently released Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll which is absurd. They’ll likely lose to Florida in their opener but have a number of cupcakes on their schedule to pad their record as usual if they were any good.
Outside of a year in 2017 where their defense lived and died with forcing turnovers, they’ve been fairly mediocre and that won’t change with the QB’s they have on their roster.
I didn’t least them in my top five overrated teams on the schedule because I know what Miami is as a program in case you were wondering.
They’re front runners who have barely beaten the two worst FSU football teams in a decade the past two years.
