FSU football: 5 most overrated teams on 2019 schedule
By Kelvin Hunt
Florida
Florida ended the 2018 season (10-3) and rolled an overrated Michigan team 41-15 Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Three of their wins came against Charleston Southern, Colorado St and Idaho.
Their three losses came against Georgia, Kentucky and Missouri with the latter two going (10-3) and (8-5) respectively.
The FSU game was 13-6 at halftime and with them benefiting from great field position and a terrible FSU offense to boot who turned the ball over three times.
They were picked No. 8 in the recently released Top 25 Preseason Coaches Poll. Who did Florida beat last year to be ranked so highly going into 2019?
A three loss LSU team and a five loss Mississippi State team? Those were the only two ranked wins they had last year.
They do return starting QB in Felipe Franks, but if they’re banking on him I’ll take my chances all day. Florida has to replace four starters on its offensive line and Todd Grantham’s defense is so boom or bust it doesn’t scare anyone.
They do have a fairly easy schedule but will still likely have three losses or more in 2019.
