FSU football met a need with the addition of Thomas Shrader to the 2020 recruiting class.. I discuss the impact he will have on the ‘Noles program.

FSU football added three-star offensive lineman Thomas Shrader to the 2020 recruiting class Sunday.

It was a move that had been in the works for quite some time with Shrader visiting campus multiple times this year.

He’s considered the No. 598 ranked player overall and No. 48 offensive tackle in the country according to 247 Composite Rankings.

He’s also the No. 87 ranked player in the state of Florida. Willie Taggart and company continue to stock their roster with players ranked in the top 100 in the state.

Schrader holds 26 offers including schools like Louisville, Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State and others.

He has good size at 6’4″ 285 pounds and reported he’s lost 65 pounds since his freshman year.

FSU football now has 19 commitments in its 2020 recruiting class which is considered the No. 13 class in the nation.

Schrader makes the fourth offensive lineman commitment in the class. Let’s take a look at how his commitment impacts the Noles.
