FSU football put in that work during the annual event hoping it would end with several players committing to the Seminoles – and boy oh boy, did it.

With the 2019 season just over a month from kickoff for the FSU football team, the Seminoles have been spending a decent amount of the summer focusing on the recruiting for the class of 2020 and making sure that head coach Willie Taggart and his assistants get the best of the best with that group of recruits.

This weekend, the Noles held their annual Saturday Night Live event for some of the top recruits from the state of Florida and around the country – and within the first hours after the event took place, Taggart and friends should be pleasantly happy with what took place.

It all started on Saturday night when FSU football landed another offensive line commit from Lloyd Willis – a 6’7″ monster of a tackle from Miami’s Killian High School who will end up being a three star recruit entering his senior season.

But the announcement from Willis was just the beginning for #Tribe20 as the Seminoles got two more players to commit to the program by noon on Sunday as offensive tackle Thomas Shrader from Venice and defensive end Morven Joseph from Lakeland’s Lake Gibson High School committed to the Noles.

Taggart and the FSU football team are sitting pretty now with the addition of three more three star recruits to a class that has seen its stock rise in the rankings this offseason to being considering one of the top in both the ACC and all of the FBS level.

It’s also a class where the commitment of Joseph got a positive response from a hated rival in former Florida Gators offensive line star Shannon Snell.

The commitment from Joseph is huge because he was committed to those Gators just over three weeks ago before de-committing in a move that many saw as a chance for the Seminoles to go into a hotbed of recruiting for their rival and steal a star player.

It could also be the beginning of what could be a monster class for FSU football before everything is said and done with making #Tribe20 one of the top groups nationally.
