FSU football has addressed a number of needs in its 2020 recruiting class but still has work to do in addressing the trenches. Their recent offer at defensive tackle could help.
FSU football has added three commitments within the last week with all of them addressing positions of need.
They’ve added to the offensive line, wide receiver and tight end positions. However, an area that’s still lacking is the defensive line group.
The Noles are in working on a couple of quality defensive tackles for the 2020 class but may have found a hidden gem recently.
Four-star defensive tackle Jeffrey M’ba was offered by the Noles on the 4th of July.

M’ba is considered the No. 319 player nationally and the No. 28 ranked defensive tackle while being the No. 4 player in the state of Connecticut.
He’s a former Virginia commit that back away from that pledge in June. M’ba holds 14 offers from the likes of Virginia, UNC, Boston College, Florida, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech.
He’s listed at 6’6″ and 315 pounds while looking powerful and moving very well for his size.

It looks like the majority of the top ranked defensive tackles are off the board or trending elsewhere for the most part. Now, stars aren’t everything and we’ve seen Odell Haggins develop players not highly ranked.
However, it would be huge to get someone already this physically developed as M’Ba was originally a 2019 player but reclassified to 2020.
FSU football has to address this position of need soon along with running back as both positions do not have any commits at this time.
