Momentum

Man, you would have thought FSU hadn’t landed a commitment in months with how fans were acting on social media earlier this week.

Nevermind the fact FSU landed two commitments there were needs in the 2020 recruiting class. I think it had to do with the fact those players were not well known or highly ranked.

The funny thing is this staff does a great job of evaluating talent and a lot of the blue chip players in this class were offered well before they were ranked that high.

In fact, the man that’ll be throwing Ja’Khi Douglas passes is one of them in FSU QB commit Jeff Sims.

Douglas committing helps the fan base gather themselves and realize the sky isn’t falling just because rivals land a commitment or two.

He’s the fifth highest commitment in the class and seems to be all-in on the Noles after visiting earlier this year.

Not to mention landing a player of this caliber in the dead period. This gives the Noles some much-needed momentum with its huge Saturday Night Live event coming in a few weeks.
