Former FSU defensive back Deion Sanders has more credentials than any defensive back ever. How many times have you seen him trash the FSU secondary in public?

He offers the right way to go forward with this.

How could you argue with that statement? That’s a grown man statement. FSU running backs coach Donte Pimpleton also with a mic drop:

What else needs to be said? I don’t know if some former players were looking for jobs and got told “no thanks” and took it personal or what? There has to be some more layers to that onion because other former players have been back in droves.

I have my doubts that Willie Taggart or any anyone affiliated with the football program told any former player they were not welcome in Tallahassee.

If former players want to be a part of the program contact the coaches, it’s that simple.

That’s the father of 2019 four-star linebacker signee Kalen Deloach and I think that speaks for itself if you followed that recruitment.

P.K. Sam confirmed the new staff has done a great job of getting former players back to the program.

So enough of the immature back and forth on social media. If a former player doesn’t feel welcome he should contact the coaching staff directly and ask directly if they are allowed to be part of the program in some way and work those details out.

However, assuming things and and saying disrespectful comments on a public forum isn’t going to help anyone…including the current players.

To the current players, it’s up to YOU to put in the extra work to get better. You don’t need former players to help you do that and spending time commenting on this ridiculousness on social media isn’t going to make you a better player.
