FSU football brought in some talented players in the 2018 recruiting class who redshirted last season. I look at three who could shine in 2019.

FSU football had about 38 percent of its 2018 recruiting class to play as true freshmen last year. Thus far there’s only been one player (Xavier Peters) from this class lost to attrition.

Those that played simply were good enough to crack the lineup. Incredibly, the lowest rated player (Keyshawn Helton) played in 11 games and is expected to be a regular contributor in the passing game and special teams.

The highest rated player (Jaiden Lars-Woodbey) was named a ESPN Freshman All-American.

A number of players were forced to redshirt because of injuries or simply needed time to add the needed size and physical maturity to compete on the offensive or defensive lines.

That redshirt season is in the books and those players have put in the necessary work to see the field in 2019.

It couldn’t come at a better time either as the Noles have some depth issues at certain positions these redshirt freshman can help at.

Let’s take a look at three redshirt freshman who can shine for the Noles in 2019.
