Offensive Line

It’s quite simple, the FSU offensive line has to be better than it has been the past three years. FSU quarterbacks have gotten annihilated the past three years and gotten sacked 104 times.

That’s not counting all of the QB hurries and knockdowns.

All of them were not on the offensive line as the quarterbacks took forever to get rid of the ball at times or didn’t recognize defensive formations pre-snap.

However, a lot of times the offensive line got absolutely whipped and the QB had no chance.

New offensive line coach Randy should have this offensive line better in 2019. They should be stronger and in better shape after another year in the FSU strength and conditioning program.

Baveon Johnson taking over for Alec Eberle could be an upgrade at center. Dontae Lucas will likely be in the starting lineup by the time the season ends. Graduate transfer Ryan Roberts should figure into one of the tackle positions. Cole Minshew, Brady Scott and Mike Arnold will all figure into the lineup too.

The Noles losing Landon Dickerson could be a factor if it were guaranteed he’d stay healthy. I think the synergy between Briles and Clements will make this group better as long as the injury bug doesn’t cripple them.
