FSU football is looking to bounce back from their first losing season in a long time and one website thinks that the Noles will be bowling in 2019.

By now, the secret is out when it comes to the FSU football team during the upcoming 2019 season: the Seminoles are at the moment where things could go from bad to worst after what took place last season depending on what the Noles have in store for fans during the season that kicks off at the end of August.

The secret from last season has been covered by this website and plenty of others that the Seminoles finished last season with a losing record for the first time since the 1976 season – the first under former head coach Bobby Bowden – and didn’t go to a bowl game for the first time since the 1981 season.

Thus, for the FSU football fan base section that was born after that time period, seeing what is going on with the Seminoles is something brand new and…well, I’m still trying to figure it out since I fall in that category and quite frankly it bothers me somewhat.

But, fans like myself in garnet and gold have nothing to fear as one top website thinks that the Noles will be bowl eligible by the time the 2019 regular season has come to an end.

College Football News released their preview of the Seminoles for the upcoming season earlier this week and have head coach Willie Taggart’s second year team getting a total of seven wins this season and being eligible to restart their streak of heading to a bowl game.

"It’s not supposed to be an excuse at a place where ACC championships and national title runs are the norm, but there needed to be a redo. The was a way-young team that started six underclassmen on offense and seven on defense, and it’s looking to start cranking up the talent level even more under Taggart. If and when Florida State becomes Florida State again, this is a 10-2 schedule with a realistic hope of splitting those showdowns against the Tigers and Gators. But for this team, starting to look the part, building it back up, and getting everything in place for a stronger Year Three under Taggart is the most likely step."

Now, as much as it may be crazy for a FSU football fan likely myself and others to say, I would take a seven win season right now and be perfectly content – don’t get me wrong, I think this is a team that wins eight or nine games in the 2019 season (more on that coming in August) but at this point going bowling is the ultimate goal.

If the season started right now, I understand how the website has the Noles losing games against teams like Clemson and Florida as well as a few among the group of quality foes they will face (Miami, Syracuse, Boise State for example) – but you never know how the season will play out.
