FSU football should be back in a decent bowl game this season if they are able to live up to the over under expectations set by one Las Vegas casino.

It wasn’t that long ago where the FSU football team was limping off the field after losing to the hated rival Florida Gators for the first time in six years – and realizing that the blowout loss meant the Seminoles would have a losing record and wouldn’t be playing in a bowl game for the first time since the 1981 season.

A decent amount of fans for the Seminoles don’t remember much about the 1982 season for whatever the reason – either they were fans by that point, they were caring about college football or a growing amount just weren’t even born yet (present company is going to be included on that one.)

But, with the 2019 season less than four months from kicking off when FSU football travels over to Jacksonville for a showdown with Boise State, the Seminoles are starting to slowly regain some respect and people are starting to realize that last season was truly a one time thing that might be a blessing in disguise when it’s all said and done.

ESPN recently released the projected win totals for the 2019 season from one Las Vegas sportsbook for some of the top teams heading into the upcoming season and the Seminoles found themselves projected to be around the eight win mark for the upcoming campaign.

"Over/Under 11 wins – Alabama and Clemson10 wins – Boise State, Central Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Washington and Washington State9 wins – Florida, Oregon and Penn State8.5 wins – Miami, Utah and Wisconsin7.5 wins – FLORIDA STATE, Michigan State, Texas A&M and USC"

Now, if you want to read into the 2019 season before the games are actually played, FSU football finds themselves with betting odds of getting to eight wins with just four teams having a projected better record than them – so you can do the math on that one, but the Seminoles right now are sitting much prettier than they were just a short time ago.

For now, FSU football still hasn’t done anything for the 2019 season, but are just months away from being able to change all of that when they take the field inside of TIAA Field over on Florida’s First Coast – but for now, it doesn’t look like there are many people who think the Seminoles will be home by the end of the season.
