FSU football continues to stay hot on the recruiting trails, adding their fourth 2020 commitment in just over a week with four-star LB Jayion McCluster.
I wrote earlier Wednesday how it was possibly FSU football would add four-star linebacker Jayion McCluster to it’s 2020 recruiting class.
That’s exactly what happened as the Largo, Florida, product announced his decision shortly at 11 a.m.
He chose between the likes of FSU, Miami and Auburn although held offers from a ton of Power 5 programs like LSU, Florida, Virginia Tech, Tennessee and others.
Check out his announcement below:

It’s crazy how momentum can swing things as FSU fans are riding the recruiting wave after a tough offseason of jokes from rivals and pundits questioning if Willie Taggart was in over his head.

Thoughts
It’s a nice get for FSU football and linebacker’s coach Raymond Woodie. It continues the plan of winning the state of Florida in recruiting and 10 of FSU’s 11 commitments are from the Sunshine State.
Also, it continues to give the Noles great momentum on the recruiting trials who now have a blue chip ratio of 64 percent.
The Noles now move to No. 6 nationally with Florida at No. 5 and Miami at No. 4. FSU football is about halfway done filling this class and should be about done at linebacker and defensive back.
The question now becomes who are they going to land at running back, wide receiver and along the trenches?
That’s where their biggest needs reside along with whoever will be the second quarterback in the class.
