James Blackman

The quarterback position along with the offensive line is arguably the most important position on the field for the Noles in 2019.

The offense will go as those positions perform. Unfortunately, both positions were awful in 2018 but James Blackman should be an upgrade over the former quarterback in a number of areas.

The post spring game interview below tells you all you need to know about James Blackman:

The fact that James Blackman got a ton of reps in Kendal Briles’ offense is huge. Blackman looked capable in the spring game and all the players on the team respect him as the leader of the team.

He looked like he has added some size this spring and his arm is as lively as ever. The deep ball is still money as evident to the deep bomb to Tamorrion Terry for the first score of the game.

All he needs to is keep getting reps in the offense while working hard in the weight room and the Noles should be fine if the offensive line can improve even a small amount.
