Jaylan Knighton

FSU football has a huge need at running back with the possibility of losing Cam Akers and potentially Khalan Laborn after the 2019 season.

The Noles have only taken one running back since signing those two in the 2017 recruiting class. Knighton would definitely fit the bill of a high quality running back who’d fit nicely in the Kendal Briles offense.

He’s a four-star back currently ranked No. 101 overall the No. 4 all-purpose back in the nation. He’s rated as the No. 28 player in the state of Florida.

Knighton holds 30 offers and was previously committed to Oklahoma and was high on Clemson after decommitting earlier this year.

It looks like the Noles have made up a ton of ground and the Noles recently made his top six schools.

Now it looks like Knighton could be announcing his commitment soon and the Noles look to be in a great position to land him after a great visit last week.

Clemson still holds the edge with 33 percent of the crystal ball predictions with FSU football checking in with 11 percent.
