FSU basketball will be the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament for the second time. We have the fan reaction to the news.
No. 12 FSU basketball (27-7) improved its stock by making the finals of the ACC Tournament. The Noles earned the No. 3 seed in the West Region.
FSU started off ACC play (1-4) but rattled off wins in 12 of their last 13 regular season games to set a FSU record for conference wins.
FSU entered the ACC Tournament as the No. 4 seed and beat No. 5 seeded Virginia Tech for the second time and No. 1 Virginia to make the finals before losing to No. 3 seeded Duke.
The Noles will take on No. 14 seeded Vermont in their opening game.

Twitter Reaction
So #FSU beats both LSU & Purdue H2H and has a better record than Purdue but they get the 3 seeds and FSU gets a 4th?!?!

The #Noles were passed over for a three seed for two teams (LSU and Purdue) that it had head-to-head wins over and a better record than https://t.co/mhdgPMAkQg

Are you f’ing kidding me? #4 seed (should have been #3) and playing in Connecticut? The selection committee does it to FSU again!

What a fucking crock of shit. A 4 seed? Didn’t we beat 2 of the 3 seeds?

Thoughts
Listen, there’s no doubt the Noles got robbed of being a No. 3 seed and the FSU fans are well aware of it. How in the world could FSU get the same seed at Virginia Tech who they beat twice?
They beat Purdue while playing in a better conference and making the finals of that conference tournament while beating a No.1 seed in Virginia.
Why does FSU have to go to the west bracket and Virginia Tech gets to play in the east? The Noles beat LSU too who was a No. 3 seed, not to mention half of FSU’s losses were against Duke(2x), Virginia and UNC.
Guess what, they are all No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. If the Noles get past Vermont they could have a potential matchup against Marquette in the second round.
